Due to police led incident
Update – #A30 #Launceston Lane 1 has now re opened on the westbound carriageway. Lane 2 remains closed. Thank you for your patience.

Drivers are being advised that the A30 in Cornwall near Launceston is currently closed in both directions with delays along the A30 and diversion route.
The closure is between the Pennygillam and Lifton junctions on the A388. This is due to a Devon and Cornwall Police led incident and ongoing investigation work.
The closure is likely to remain in place until the early afternoon.
A diversion is in place along local roads in Launceston which are becoming congested and Highways England is advising drivers to consider delaying journeys or use alternative routes such as:
– M5 and A38 via Plymouth
– A361 and A39 along the north coast of Devon and Cornwall.
