Pulling businesses together for charity beach clean
The 2minute Foundation is organising a charity beach clean on Friday 17th February on Slapton Sands from 11.00 till around 2.00pm and we’d love you to join us and get involved!

Before the summer season takes momentum, we thought we’d create an event to pull all of our amazing partners and suppliers together for a worthwhile cause; A networking corporate responsibility day with like-minded local businesses and charitable benefits, not to mention a lovely publicity story too for all involved.
How can you get involved?
Option One
Person power, bring down a team, and get litter-picking with us! We’re asking for a corporate responsibility and sustainability donation donation of somewhere between £20 – £100, with all of the money going towards this amazing charity, then it’s as simple as turning up and buy some raffle tickets. Together we will be raising funds for charity.
Option Two
Donate a raffle prize with all funds going to the 2 Minute Foundation charity.
Option Three
All of the above and make a donation for the corporate goodie bags
How the day will run
We’ll grab a hot drink and then The 2minute Foundation will lead a fascinatingly informative beach clean adding in information on the myriad of ocean plastics and discussing their origins and impacts. We will also be keeping our eyes open for some natural discoveries too as we learn about the ocean and the incredible animals and seaweeds that inhabit our shores.
Then to sort the waste! What can be recycled? What can’t and why? How do we categorise all the litter and what happens to the non-recyclable stuff now? Learn what you can do with all the beach waste you find and what initiatives are out there to help you.
To finish the event off, The 2minute Foundation will lead a discussion on making your business more sustainable with a 2 Minute solutions workshop; An interactive session to help you learn more about sustainable options, your business and the benefits to you and the planet. All attendees will receive a 5% discount on Clean Up stations ordered in February and 10% discount on a starter litter picking pack.
